01. Installation time

For businesses and contractors, installation time is a decisive factor, or more descriptively: The time from when the solution is installed until it can be put into use. All resin floors must cure before they can be used, and in many industries, long curing time is synonymous with increased downtime, lost revenue and higher costs.
Acrylicon is ready for use after just 1 hour and fully cured after 2 hours. In many cases, we install or repair floors overnight, so that the customer’s operations can continue as normal the next morning.
By comparison, epoxy and PU floors require several days to achieve full curing depending on the substrate temperature. For many of our customers, the costs of halting production or other operations are far higher than the floor investment itself. Choosing a fast-curing floor pays for itself – both during installation and every time the floor needs to be repaired or adapted to new needs.
With Acrylicon you get a floor that cures quickly, withstands loads immediately and minimises operational disruptions – an investment that pays off both in the short and long term.
Curing time for different products
-
- Epoksy
- 24 timer til støvtørr. 7–14 dager til full herding
-
- Polyuretan
- 3–5 timer til støvtørr. 3–5 dager til full herding
-
- Akryl/MMA
- 1–2 timer til full herding
-
- Acrylicon
