The ambitious £30 million overhaul of AO Arena included the refurbishment of entrance and back-of-house areas, as well as the creation of The Mezz — a new luxury mezzanine with restaurants, hospitality areas, and a completely new viewing experience.
With tight deadlines and highly robust finishes required throughout the construction process, AcryliCon was selected to deliver flooring solutions across the venue — from public concourses and stairs to VIP bars and external areas.

AcryliCon delivered a comprehensive flooring solution covering all key areas of the arena refurbishment. AcryliCon Décor was applied throughout the concourse, stairs, toilets and bar cellars — providing durable, visually appealing surfaces suited to high footfall. AcryliCon Composite Terrazzo was used in the VIP bar and lounge area, delivering a premium finish that complements the luxury hospitality offering. AcryliCon Multi-Grip was installed on the external concourse and back-of-house areas, ensuring slip resistance and durability in exposed conditions.
